After reading this, I was stunned. I have never heard a conservative...anyone speak this candidly, let alone have these persons be Ted Newton or Glenn Beck. I feel that the major point of this article was this:
"You look at someone who a few cycles might have been derided as a right-wing lunatic, now they aren't conservative enough," Newton said. "People who were darlings of the conservative movement are now RINOs. I consider myself a fairly conservative person on most issues, and you wouldn't believe the kind of hate that is being spewed at me on Twitter. The pendulum has definitely swung."
There were so many people I wanted to tag but I couldn't reach them all so, what say you RP? Objectively speaking, has conservative media "empowered the instruments of their own destruction?"

Very rarely do I even pay attention to conservative media because of a couple of points this article actually touched on (Obama's a Muslim, he's a terrorist sympathizer, he wasn't born in this country) as well as countless others. So to hear this coming from people *inside the conservative establishment* is just... Wow. #mindblown

What news organization or major primetime anchor or journalist reported that "Obama's a Muslim, he's a terrorist sympathizer, he wasn't born in this country" as well as countless others". They gave coverage to those nonsense allegations the same as CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, NPR, BBC, Reuters and AP gave coverage to those same allegations.
There is no news service without an agenda anymore. But to close yourself off to one side or the other is to fall victim to group think.

This is true Maj John Bell but when one side of the spectrum makes an outlandish statement, doubles down on that statement and everyone a part of that spectrum echoes and/or embellishes that statement, it makes it very hard to listen to or even believe anything they say even if it turns out to be credible

There is a difference between news programs and opinion programs. At least their should be. I agree that it is "very hard to listen to or even believe anything they say even if it turns out to be credible." Now tell me the Opinion Program/Editorial Page of what major network, periodical, or daily that passes muster as balanced?
Undoubtedly Fox News has a right side bias. What other major Network doesn't have a left side bias? Name the major news outlet that I cannot show an example of "Outlandish statements". In many cases I can show those statements by there permanent hosts or "journalists". At least Fox makes the pretense of having left side representation on some of their opinion shows. The other outlets normally only have the right side on as guests. Hell, they are so in league or lazy or guilty of plagiarism that uncommon phrases will become the phrase of the month on all the networks for a few weeks.
By the nature of my "organic" natural food business, I come into a large number of Fox News "haters". When they say Fox News lies, upon questioning, for the most part admit to never having watched Fox News. Or they cite the opinions of guests on the opinion programs.

trump didn't break it, the GOP broke it by backing big government RINOs over conservative people who value the US Constitution's limitations on government over the people. Conservatives are punishing the GOP who were given the House and Senate to counterbalance the socialist agenda which has destroyed every country it's ever invaded.
