They have used many American politician that oppose their jihad openly as part of their recruiting videos. I think this is a dog bites man story. If you are going to be cowed by this type of thing that is exactly what they want. They want us to shut up and tolerate their activities. Anyone that does not will be gone after and used like this. They know that we seem to be hung up on helping them recruit. Their greatest recruiting tool is success in their mission. The creation and expansion of their caliphate, the continued use of jihad against the west.
