What a dreaded day in the history of our country. It was a scentless act of racism.

I was stationed at Fort McPherson, GA when this occurred. All military personnel there were locked down on post just prior to Dr. King's funeral in Atlanta.

I still contend 1968 is in the top 3 all time worst years in this country's history ( I would argue THE worst)...
Jan 68 TET offensive..and a 77 day siege on our Marines at Khe Sanh
MLK assassination... followed by Bobby Kennedy assassination..
1968 DNC in Chicago where folks witnessed up close and personal ( on the nightly news) young folk gettin their heads busted open by CPD and hauled away
numerous race riots across the fruited plain
Highest death rate (by year..almost 17K) in the War..(LBJ declares screw this..I'm out)
the 1968 Hong Kong Flu..1 million world wide 100k here

MSgt Robert "Rock" Aldi - I tend to agree with you on that year Rock. Up until 2021. I now think our worst years are yet to come. Especially after what we have all seen, and how destructive this administration has already been to America in such a short amount of time. I can't; and I'm sure millions of Americans right now can point to one positive thing that the Biden puppet administration has done for the country, instead of for his party, himself, his family, and the people that he owes favors to. I'll be waiting.
I'm guessing this will be the consensus
