Drinking As You Get Older In The Military

Those nights of drinking like a fish out of water set sail long ago! Good laughs though!

When I turned 21 and was stationed in Hawaii, I took a week of leave getting drunk every single day. I don't think I was sober the entire time. Then I went to work the next workday fine. Now at 33, if I have 4 beers or 2 margaritas at Chili's, my body hurts the next day. If I get get drunk, it's at home with my wife, and then I have a two-day hangover. It's definitely not as fun as it used to be, that's for sure.

I'm glad that he was driving. He looks too drunk to be walking around.
