Same ol' BS going on today. If a homicidal maniac violates your "gun free school zone", then what you should do is go into "lockdown". Just lock doors as if bullets won't go through them, and hide until the killer finds you, or the SWAT team arrives, whichever happens first.
The smart money is on the killer.

Cpl Scott McCarroll - Sorry. I thought the analogy between "duck and cover" and the modern school "lockdown" was rather obvious. Apparently that analogy is not clearly seen by all, in spite of my efforts to point it out.
I considered my opening statement, "Same ol' B[S] going on today" would make that analogy clear to any reader. Perhaps "Bs" where "BS" was intended caused your confusion. I have corrected that error.

It appears in Florida the hiding behind closed doors did save some lives,, unlike the "duck and cover" procedure for nuclear attack.
BTW, living 4 miles from the end of the runway of a B-1b base, I too would be a crispy critter.

MSG Stan Hutchison - Is it a certainty that some lives were saved, OR merely exchanged for other lives that were taken by the killer?
