Somehow I'm a lot more comfortable with a normal learning process and let what is natural proceed. The prospect of not being in full control Myself I find disturbing. The possibilities of alteration and control by outside technical by others means could have consequences I'm NOT willing to risk !

Historically, mankind has pushed limits as much as we can, ethically or otherwise. This one just seems like it is too prone to very bad outcomes, regardless of any purported benefits. I vote no, most emphatically. As to their "internal ethical guidelines", the fact that they did not post any implies they are lacking.
