You're just now finding out about edX? I and a few others have talked about it a few times here before. There's a free Intro to Linux course there, by the way. Have you never heard of coursera, cybrary, linuxacademy, and code academy either ?

Coursera and Linuxacademy yes, the others no (will check them out). Keep in mind that I don't get all groups (and sometimes just miss a thread) so sometimes things just bypass for bizarre reasons. It's like that restaurant everyone knows about that you just discovered last week.

Look at MIT Open Courseware also, http://www.excelsior.edu as well which is extremely military friendly, learnerstv.com, and Univ of the People on uopeople.edu as well, which has nearly free degrees apart from admin and exam fee costs incl in bus admin and comp sci recently accred by the dist educ and training commission or DETC and has I gathered wanted to add other majors incl in sciences and also try going masters level or so I've understood at least thus far.
Excelsior College, an online college with degree programs, courses and exams in Business, Technology, Nursing, Liberal Arts, Health Sciences and Public Service.

I was obviously glad you'd apparently liked the suggestions here I'm not sure if you'll see this though I figured I'd try on the off chance you might also about what I'd sent about physics suggestions hope you found them equally useful would be most eager to hear your thoughts about what I'd sent about that if you might ever care to chat about that in greater depth would certainly be willing to link though I just thought to ask here as I typically prefer to let others send link requests here if they'd care to chat at all with me if you'd care to yak about science generally would certainly be most eager to just thought a link might let us do so more conveniently that was just my thought hope to hear more from you when convenient if anyone else might also care to link likewise to discuss either education and of science would certainly also be most willing by all means many thanks
