"Hanging in effigy"... or any similar act, has always struck me as patently morose; I'll extend that include the historical context, and our own Revolution. It's a threat lacking both the resolve and discipline to effect any substantive change... that's always achieved later, usually at great cost, by people possessing higher levels of both. Personally, I believe this young lady is being manipulated, and her future bargained on notoriety at the behest of adults who should know better.
