‘Enlisted Military’ Rated Most Stressful Job In The Country — Again. Here’s Why

I always knew that. Good to see my hunch confirmed. Lol!

As I was 'Enlisted Military' many,many years ago and did find that period of my life stressful,I could not imagine what the current Service members face what with multiple deployments and an seeming less unending war in the Mideast and maybe another one in Asia too boot,it seems the bean counters have this one right.

I'd agree it's the most difficult or underpaid (E-4-E-6) but I find being commissioned much more stressful. The margin for mistakes is almost non-existent, the prospects of a career are a political crap shoot, and you're asked to make, justify, and defend difficult decisions. I wouldn't swap my commission for an enlistment, and I wish we did more for our guys, but their lives aren't all that stressful.
