Happy to see this. They need the training. A Dutch F-16 took the last 8 feet of my boom and went home with it. And all I got was a patch.

Nope, an emergency breakaway will always get your attention. At least he didn't flame out as the fuel dumped out momentarily into his intake.

Thanks for the Stare... There was Video Posted recently of " In Air Refueling Mishaps... " where there was a Loss of Baskets and Hoses as well as Boom's and the damage done to The KC's and the Receiving AC...

I remember thoses days 53rd out of Bitburg NATO Tigers , training out of Base in Denmark, trading squadron patches was the norm.. back in the 80s
