Even in death ALL lives matter, but I can relate to a part of her story. It took us almost two years to locate a family member's grave because of poor record keeping.
Now a days with so many being cremated I think a lot of families will lose ties to graveyards. My Mother does not have a gravestone and didn't want a separate plot, she wanted to be with her Father so we just sprinkled her ashes where he was buried. My Father specifically admonished us to not pay for a gravesite, he wanted to be cremated and returned to his hometown near where his Mother and Father were buried.
For me I want to be cremated and the family take a trip and deposit a little of my ashes in places where we as a family have great memories like at Bull Shoals Trout Fishing, Lake Erie for Walleye, Florida at one of the piers where we loved the Beach, etc.
