From the article:
“Nobody should be fooled — the reason right-wingers are suddenly fans of propriety again is because so much of their political agenda requires using the Supreme Court to advance policy far too unpopular for the democratic process.” - MSNBC columnist Zeeshan Aleem.
You'd think a columnist would do a little reading. If the draft opinion is adopted as is, it returns the decision on abortion and what restrictions will be in place TO THE VOTERS of each state. Those voters can either elect like-minded legislators and governors who will enact the will of the electorate. Or they can force the issue to a ballot proposition and directly vote on the issue, elected officials be damned.
From what dumpster did this columnist get his journalism degree?
