I agree that Comey would NOT have to have the book reviewed by Mueller...but he would be required to have a Pre-Publication review by the Justice Dept. I have never heard that he got that. We all sign an SF 312 NDA. Without looking it up, I think it was paragraph 12. I did it. He could not have the FBI do the review, since he outranked the reviewer there. It would have to be his next higher HQ.

Considering the heat he's getting and can expect, I hope he dotted the i's and crossed the t's. If not he can stand by for heavy rolls.

And SF 312 is limited to cover classified information and all remedies are civil, not criminal. The government is welcome to sue him with all the likely discovery that entails. Good luck with that.
