What is life without a Twitter account? I 've never had one. Bad Twitter!

Twitter is a means of communication between an individual or an entity and those interested and its activities. You can't expect the newspaper's, online or in print, to cover everything happening at the border patrol. In this case the assistant director of The Border Patrol was conveying positive news that was then censored by Twitter as hate speech. The assistant director of the border patrol did not violate the Twitter hate speech policy. He simply stated that there are now 415 miles of fencing that is keeping out murderers, rapists, drug dealers, and other criminals. He did not specify anyone from any particular country nor did he call for violence against them. He gave a status update on the wall and nothing more. However, Twitter seems to be on their own mission of poking a stick in the eye of the government like a good socialist and it's going to end up costing Twitter a lot when they have the protections of FCC section 230 taken away from them. As long as they censor content they're not entitled to those legal protections. What this refers to is if you have a user the threatens to blow up the White House the crime being committed is by the user and in this case not Twitter. That means that they are content neutral. On the other hand, if they participate in the content by promoting it and not allowing others to speak out against it they're acting in the role of a publisher.

Here's Twitter's hate speech policy that was not violated:

You may not promote violence against or directly attack or threaten other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease. We also do not allow accounts whose primary purpose is inciting harm towards others on the basis of these categories.

SSG Robert Ricci - Thanks brother Bob, I was being facetious. I watched the reports this morning. A former station mate was Acting BP/ICE director at the beginning of the Trump transition and I still have brothers and sisters on duty out in the brush. So I stay pretty well plugged in so far since retirement. Be well Bob and God Bless "The Green".

Can't have that.
How much you want to bet that all these "locked accounts" expire on November 4th?

We might agree on that but it's hard to tell with you whether you're being sarcastic or not. My guess is here expecting Joe Biden to win and you would be wrong. He doesn't take office until January 20th, 2021.

SSG Robert Ricci - I don't think it matter who wins next week. The purpose of these suspensions is to suppress certain narratives. That need expires on the 3rd of November.

1SG (Join to see) and that we agree on 100%. I knew eventually we would find common ground. Politics has gotten so far out of hand and you and I are old enough to remember what it used to be like. It used to be that if you had a Supreme Court Justice nominee that person would Sail by with like a 98 to 2. Now it's all party line. Threats of packing the court. Socialism. Fundamentally changing a constitution this has been the Envy of the entire world for 231 years. We're not perfect but we're certainly not completely broken either. Not yet. The big issue right now is whether or not Joe Biden in fact was an active participant and even if he was not and it was just his son, he's compromised. The antics of just his son can be used by a state- sponsor like China and get old Joe to do what they want or they blackmail is Sun. I personally think we'll Joe was completely guilty. On paper he's only worth 9 million dollars but yet he's got homes all over the country. Nice homes too. What an unusual election where the candidate decides to hide in his basement bunker and decide his day is over at 10 am. I haven't even open my eyes yet and he's already putting a lid on the day. He's dangerous for the country. Mainly because they're going to use him and pull the 25th Amendment and Kamala Harris will be the president. She's so popular that she pulled out before super Tuesday because she couldn't get any traction. Nancy Pelosi will disappear and suddenly AOC will be the Speaker of the House. Just what we need. A bartender with just a little bit of education and a great body. What a winning recipe for the success of our country. But you're right. A lot of this crap will disappear on November 4th or at least on the day when they can declare a winner.
