A merchant. Using flashing lights instead of VHF to signal a ship they couldn't identify in the dark? I call bullshit. This is that captain trying to save his ass, because his VDR (vessel data recorder) isn't going to show any bridge-to-bridge communication, because his crew dropped the ball just as hard as the Fitz's.

LCDR (Join to see) - I hadn't seen that one about the CO being outside. Interesting. Anyway, yeah, the Captain of the Crystal is being less than honest in my opinion. And even for a big ship, 10 minutes with the rudder hard over is damn near, if not fully, an entire circle. That'd be like 4 circles for the DDG of course.

SN Greg Wright - It just does not make sense, the broadside the Fitz would have had to been on her stbd side and that would mean she turned into her. The suspense is killing me we will just have to wait for the Navy for finish its ten year investigation.

LCDR (Join to see) - Did you ever work with RADM Fort leading the investigation? I never did but had friends who did, and they all said he was a great guy to work for. Being a nuke, I am guessing that he will want the investigation done quickly.
