I don't think thateans what Town hall wants to say it means.
Anyone with half decent debate prep would have seen those questions coming. Not because they were fed the questions but because the questions were OBVIOUS.
There were no "what is your stance on EPA regulations as they apply to theoretical wetlands which also pass within residential districts?" questions. No niche questions. There were no IN DEPTH policy questions.
Everything was either broad brush (e.g. immigration in general, not in specific) or about hut button topics that everyone is discussing (e.g. abortion).
The statement here, by a CNN anchor is nowhere near as sinister as the extreme right media would have you believe.
