Facebook 'would have allowed Hitler to buy ads'

It should go without saying that I don’t support Hitler, his views, anti-semitism, etc. That stated, who cares who Facebook sells ads to?

As Justice Holmes wrote, ‘Speech that demeans on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, age, disability, or any other similar ground is hateful; but the proudest boast of our free speech jurisprudence is that we protect the freedom to express "the thought that we hate".

If folks don’t like anti-Semitic ads from Hitler (or any ads) on FB, folks would be free to not read them.

*i do support Cohen. He is a riot; one of the best actors of the past few decades. But when he criticised Google, Twitter and YouTube for pushing "absurdities to billions of people", I’m forced to raise an eyebrow and call bullsh*t. He has made nearly his entire career of tricking folks and pushing absurdities to millions of people.

Everyone is entitled to speak their opinions. Me, Cohen, the maniacs on RP and dare I say...even Hitler.

Where are the lines? That becomes the issue.

Got to have rules that respect everyone's privacy.
