Having PTSD I have noticed many things about me which includes grieving for who I was.

I’m so sorry to hear this. Unfortunately this is very common and probably falls under a series of PTSD symptoms that have been grouped under the unofficial “diagnosis” of Moral Injury. You might want to do some research on it and find someone who can help. Feelings like this can make Independence Day, Veterans Day and Memorial Day problematic for those with PTSD and moral injury. I wish you the best.

CH (CPT) James L. Machado Workman - I do go to the VA and they are trying to help me sort it out. I may be down, but I am not out!
