Fascinating photos of American Bookmobiles in the past ...

Even with having a library in our grade school growing up, the bookmobile still stopped by the school for the kids to see what was on board, and to borrow.

Certainly getting books to people that may not otherwise of had access was a good thing. I was always fortunate enough to be near a good library and took advantage of that and always did and still enjoy reading. I find reading a good book is often a good way to pass the time and I enjoy it.

I remember the Book Mobile coming around to the neighbor Hoods during the Summer...
