You cannot find that which you do not wish to see. And, if you wish to see for a very long time, you simply do not find that which would cause your sight to grow permanently dim.

There is no difference. Is there a difference between what General Petraus or General Cartwright and General Allen. The answer is NO. But is there a difference between both candidates for the presidency? Yes, one is a male the other a female. One is a lying businessman and woman hater, the other has senior moments that is showing her character. Both have no character in their blood. Worst of all both have no inkingly about our DOD and it's service departments. The last time I checked what President was in the military and it didn't surprise me. former President George H. W. Bush, U.S. Navy. So for almost the past three decades our Country's President has been a public figure head and it looks like it to me we'll have another. Whom? Well l'll leave it up to the people of our Nation when November 8, 2016.

Also With Donald Trump, although not in the service He did graduate from NYMA, New York Military Academy where He was a Cadet Captain and commander of Company A in the corp of Cadets. He was later promoted to the cadet Battalion staff at NYMA. The school had a program of US Army ROTC. The Cadet Captain in the center of this picture is Donald Trump.

SMSgt Lawrence McCarter - There is a distinct difference between serving in the military services and wannabe services. Military Academy is not considered being in the Armed Forces of the United States of America.

SMSgt Lawrence McCarter - Again, the Guard, no matter what Guard, the Air Guard, the Army Guard, they are not considered to be in the Armed Forces of the United States of America. You need to read the National Security Act of 1947 and it's amendments.

CWO3 (Join to see) - Private Military Academies as i already pointed out above is not Military service or part of the Armed Forces, not all will even enter the armed forces. (Trump was never in the Armed Forces, just Army ROTC) You pointed out what I already said on that issue. US Service Academies on the other hand ARE active duty, they carry active duty ID cards and have a service obligation upon graduation or if the wash out are reassigned as Airmen IAW that service obligation. I also pointed out Bush Jr had served in BOTH the US Air Force and the Air Guard. The two week active duty periods, Basic training and the undergraduate Pilot training ARE active duty. Weekend drillS and IDT, Inactive duty for training are not but still credited toward Military service. duties for the State are not Federal active duty even if they are for extended periods of time. Members of the Guard, Air and Army are still subject to the UCMJ as Military members. Those are not wannabe services as You put it !
