Maj (Join to see) - You ought to see the crap I get in my email box from foreigners who want my services to enforce their divorce decree settlement agreements. They have figured out how to get through four layers of security. The trash bin gets full some days. And the various attachments of divorce decrees (I have my IT gurus open them in another secure computer so no infection happens) are really getting much better. I've contacted attorneys in several other states only to find out that the divorce decrees were actually from their case files and were lifted from court websites, then AI generated with various edits to make it look like it was the foreigner who emails us. I'd like to be able to charge these idiots just for having to block them. What a waste of my time.

Patricia Overmeyer - I believe it! We have several law firms as clients and the crap we see getting into their inboxes. Overall, I monitor about 1000 inboxes daily. Seeing the attempts that we catch makes me weep for humanity.

Maj (Join to see) The dead give away is the person claims I will get a portion of whatever I recover. Um, that's not how family law attorneys charge. We have an hourly rate and require an advanced fee. Duh!
