The video leaves a bit out focusing on one picture but when looking at the total design, it's not that bad at all.
The bigger question should be, why are they built, and why aren't they used more than for a "cheap" means to bolster an ego, and with the short attention span of Americans, fall into non use in a relatively short period of time?
