Fantastic pictorial on the American septuplets born in fall of 1997, the McCaughleys. I posted 8 pics but the article has many more.
The parents, Bobbi and Kenny McCaughey, were shocked at the news of 7 fetuses but decided against following the doctors’ suggestion of selective abortions for the ensured safety of the mother and remaining babies; rather, the parents decided to try birth all the babies.
Kenny said later, “Which of the four should we have gotten rid of?”

As time went on, many people and companies helped out in a lot of ways, but it was still a lot of work for the parents as they tried to do much of it on their own. Imagine washing (or going through) 52 diapers a day! The children were a great blessing to the parents, and to each other as they grew. They remain close to one another and are finding their own paths, whether the military, or teaching, music, etc. Today, they are about 22 yrs old. (2021)
