Now this is some great advice. America was the first nation to build on the idea that the whole is equal to the sum of its parts. In other words, the wealth of the nation is the sum of the wealth of its citizens and thus, by allowing them the freedom to build wealth, the nation would be enriched. As service members, we know that the outcomes of battles are decided in countless little battles, often individual battles. Yes, no individual can defeat a well trained, equipped, and led team, but every team is comprised of competent individual warriors. We defeated many enemies because individual warriors weren't allowed to think for themselves. They followed orders slavishly and were then lost when cut off from their commands. And for those intent on "fixing the world", the idea than anyone or any group has such power is the very definition of hubris.
