The politics of it all. We either stand or withdraw. Either way Soldier's deserve clear standing orders, our adversary’s should always. E aware of those orders and the result of an attack, direct or indirect.

We have experienced too many operations where US Troops are in the ground with orders that essentially leave them defenseless. I could name them, it is easier to google. All to often the government leaves it to chance, believing that US presence is deterrent enough, well that haven’t always worked out, there is too much at stake here (globally with Russia and China) to leave it to chance.

The Administration needs more sound advice, and should pay heed. The political side seems covered, always mired themselves in gobbledygook, it is the Pentagon that needs to take their gloves off and stand for those on the ground.
Don’t send our men and women home in body bags without giving them the latitude to defend themselves first.

TOO MANY TIMES.

That is exactly my point. Leadership out already vulnerable Soldiers in this situation by the lack thereof. 1SG Russell Scott

I hope Biden doesn't feel the need to compensate for our loss in Afghanistan. Putin is just baiting us to come fight him next door to his homeland.

Why should we send troops? What about the UN & NATO? Let them put boots on the ground. Ukraine offers us nothing of value.
Well, except more money for the Biden family.
