I know there has to be more to this in regards to his discharge. OTH for being a whistleblower? That's some ruthless mess right there. It would appear the "leadership" took "snitches get stitches" to the next level of Blue Falconry.

SSG Warren Swan
MCPO Roger Collins - that seriously would be hilarious, except I can actually see that happening.

He is from the generation that thinks everyone should have a trophy for participating. He wants the title Marine but doesn't want to earn it. It sounds like this lightweight could not finish and had to separate from the Marines now he wants to play whistleblower, likely to gain access to some benefit.
He is the poster child for generation whine. Not everyone can be a Marine, in the past, some learned that and walked away clean. These days they have to publically cry out and call foul and show how they have been wronged etc. Life is hard, it is harder of you are stupid. He is the poster child for that quote.

Cpl Jeff N. unfortunately many Marines' careers will come to an early end. I'm not for tumbling anyone in a dryer (it's felony abuse if you do this to an animal), and if the DI was drunk while doing so then it was cruelly punitive and he should face court martial. I hope the Corp can clean house, one way or another. Semper fi!

Most of us had worse than a clothes dryer episode. No houses need to be cleaned, we need to have people that have some level of intestinal fortitude. If you cannot hack some harassment/hazing/rough treatment you are not Marine Corps material. There is nothing that happens at Parris Island that might be as bad as something that happens in combat. it is designed to be hard, even excessively at times but that is how you earn the title by sucking it up and dealing with the adversity or challenge. The whining about mean drill instructors is bullshit. They have to turn 18 year olds into Marines in 3 months. If this sort of potential scares people they should join something else.

If there are as many people involved, this investigation is far from over. And as said before and OTH for a whistle blower....there is more to that then meets the eye.
