Former presidents do wield a lot of clout. It would be "nice" if he can find a retirement purpose and devote time and effort to it.

Too bad he doesn't recognize that he isn't in the bull pen, he's no longer on the team. If this is true, I suppose no one will bring up the Logan Act. It appears it only applies to Republicans before an election, not democrats after an election.

Maj John Bell - You do know guys like MLK Jr. were considered civic leaders with no political affiliation. Is it hard to contemplate that other countries have their own version of civic leaders with zero political affiliation to government? Global civic leaders aren't limited to just politicians and members of government just because a former president is talking to them.

Maj John Bell - No just since 2008 we've listened to so much hate and anger by conservatives and republicans that led to 2016 Trump. Guess you would like a montage of anger and hate messages from 2008-2017 towards the Obama family, American Muslims and Hispanics, LGBT, immigrants, and I guess we can add Black football players to that list.
