Former Republican congressman stuns with commentary on his party's lack of courage and morality

Thank you, my friend Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen for posting the perspective of a former Republican who left the Republican party "over their inaction on gun control as he is being interviewed on MSNBC.
"DAVID JOLLY: These are the moments where my anger is somewhat palpable because you've just got to be honest. These are, in today's Republican Party, spineless politicians rotten to the core without virtue. Without any level of human integrity, devoid of self-respect, self-reflection, without courage, and without the moral compass to recognize their own malevolence."

1. Anybody who believes that creating additional gun-control laws would convert those criminally-minded folks into obeying the additional gun control measures.
2. There are sufficient gun-control measures that if implemented could actually reduce violent crime. Yet the US Congress - especially the U.S. House is clamoring for additional laws.
