He should be court martialed under Article 88 of the UCMJ. That’s one year prison reduction in grade to lowest grade and a dishonorable discharge.

RFS means he didn't live up to the Ranger standards of conduct. He could have been a turd, disrespectful, or maybe just a marginal performer. Lots of people who are RFS'ed go on to be very successful in other units, they just didn't make it in the 75th.
