I checked around various other sources and this is the only one that is presenting something approaching the truth of the matter. So, what is the problem that seems to be driving Democrats up the "wall"? Could it be that the President's proposal is a better deal for illegal aliens than the one the Democrats were promising them? That the Democrats fear that President Trump will "buy" their support, the votes that they were trying to buy?

CNBC opinion piece said it was better. I still think the wall is a 3d century solution to a 21st century problem and we could use technology so much better. I saw several analyses that reported much of this. I would never go so far as to say I would depend on Fox to present something approaching the truth without checking it though. LOL

We could considerably reduce the cost of the wall and satisfy many from Mexico and central America that want an "American Opportunity." We invade and make everything from the US border to the Isthmus of Panama a US Territory with the same status as Puerto Rico, American Samoa, etc. etc. etc.

Maj John Bell - If they get all the status of Puerto Rico, they won't consider that a better deal. My comment isn't about the wall being immigration control, it's about the method.

Why not check with the protesters around Schumer’s house. However, all the rhetoric means nothing until an agreement is reached. Then, as Ross Perot said, the devil is in the details.
