Wow! I didn't know that there was an actual term for that or that was really a big thing back then. That's pretty crappy though. especially for the one in the article. All he did was scold the kid for sleeping. Can you imagine though how things would be so different today if this story was modern.

I did a tour with 4th Div. 1966-1967 Kontum Prov. And never heard of any incidents at that time ,but later on at Fort Polk La. 1968 heard rumors about this but was never convinced it was wide spread or just isolated incidents carried out by very disturbed individuals acting out on their own for their own crazy reasons.I would really like to believe this was the case, because I believe this brings dishonor to all Vietnam vets
