Francis 'Jeep' Sanza, General Patton's Driver During World War II, Has Died At Age 99

CW5 Jack Cardwell, great story and we are blessed that such men were born to live life's of legends and fight for freedom. My grandfather is still with us. He is a WWII Pacific War Veteran and he drove for McArthur and also piloted his yacht and flew his private plane while in Japan. My Grandfather was a Technical Sergeant and while in Iowa before the war was trained in HVAC. A humorous story he always tells me is that he never wore a tie and always got away with it. Officers would scold him but when he told them that they would not be getting air conditioning in their room they quickly changed their tunes.
