We have a dilemma in the Middle East where we have extreme Shia and extreme Sunni war going on between Saudi Arabia and the Iranian government. They are the proxy war in Yemen and Syria. The sanctions will hurt Iran. Too bad. We gave them billions under the Obama Administration with the Forty or so billion dollars released from the 1970s Shah of Iran money given back as part of the Iranian nuclear deal which may have funnel some of the money into terrorism. Hurting the Iranians with sanctions may make them cooperate.

This is getting hairy, I'm hoping this situation can deescalate soon otherwise this will prove bad for the entire region.
