Brought back memories of when we lost all 8 engines when ferrying B-52 from U-tapao RTAFB back to Carswell AFB in US. Flew normal combat mission, coasted out, climbed to 45000' and headed to first tanker. One by one engines started flaming out and wouldn't restart. Began controlled descent and prep for bailout. At about 14000' were able to get first engine to restart and eventuality all 8 restarted. Leveled at 10000' and diverted to Clark AFB. Turned out that fuel at U-tapao had been contaminated with water and the extra 10000' we climbed to for return route to US & tanker caused fuel lines to freeze up. Maintenance flushed aircraft fuel system and we consumed some liquid courage at the Club. Next day we completed trip back to Carswell.
