One can survive a 100-ft fall. I have the scars to prove it. Medical recovery ain't fun, though.

If the ground was at 10K, and I was only 3 feet above the ground.... Looks like some serious fun, but I would like to know about the quality of parts, the propulsion system, fuel monitoring, testing and certifications, maintenance, safety, and emergency handling (survival) capabilities for starters. It's not a new concept - check out the Fort Rucker Museum Site, the " one man 'copter" and the "Flying Jeeps" on the web. They would have been candidates for the "Darwin Award", but one has to start somewhere. Kudo's to the "dreamers". There's good reason why they didn't make it; perhaps this one will solve the inherent problems with the concept.
