I read the first book and decided it was not nearly as good as his Wildcards series, and since I have no taste for splatter porn I do not watch the TV show.

SFC Dave Beran - I usually would agree with you, but HBO did it right. It's the most expensive show ever filmed, and you can tell. I say give it a shot, SFC.

SN Greg Wright - sorry have heard a lot different. Have even heard people describe stuff that wasn't in the books. Might be close but I can't watch stuff that has professional flair. Lol

SFC Dave Beran - Well the last season (7) and the upcoming 2 final seasons, passed the books. So they had to write it themselves off of GRRM's notes.
