George Carlin's estate sues over AI-generated stand-up special titled 'I'm glad I'm dead'

Either way right or wrong , allowed or not, His Estate should have been asked and granted permission to use his visage/ voice/ personage. Just like any estate should be asked if they can use anyone's likeness / voice, etcetera .
No permission beforehand, no going ahead with the plans to use the person/ there Likeness/ their voice, alive or not.
Everyone is entitled to their personhood. Living or Dead. We have the tech now to impersonate both the likeness and speech and are able to create scenarios ehrre the person being copied can seem to state things/ appear to approve or disapprove of things that person would have been outright out of character for them to do or say or approve/ disapprove of that goes against or in support of anything.

Can you imagine PotUS of any era living or dead supporting and praising something innately opposite of their beliefs through AI generated scenarios.
I know he would probably not say it or even support it , but what if AI generated material appeared to have the Current PotUS Biden state that he agrees with Trump on all the items Trump claimed that happened and how Trump said they happened.
Pandora's box has been opened. Now we must deal with the tech and make laws governing its use and planned actions.
