I can also picture Buford T Justice tooling down the highway in this thing. Pretty impressive vehicle from what I've seen.

I love the car - feds should butt out of whatever sheriff wants to do with his well earned cash.
Frankly, this is far cheaper than some up armored SWAT vehicle - with enormous PR value.
I, frankly, wouldn’t mind being pulled over by a county mounty with a decently powered car.
Federal agents don’t seem to have any problem driving seized high performance cars.
And - think about the opportunity to purchase these cars as surplus in a few years.
Warmest Regards, Sandy :)

I find it hard to believe that the sheriff didn’t have enough current knowledge and/or experience or do enough due diligence to recognize the issue he would create, LTC Stephen Conway.

...I would have debadged the car and made it a "sleeper", and otherwise kept it on the low-down, for the most part. I also think he could have legitimately justified it w/ successful apprehension after chase stats IMO.
