I'd already commented that for what it cost to build a wind turbine, it will never pay for itself before it's lifetime is up. Belts and parts have to be replaced..

My mother's house is in the Banning pass in California just east of Casino Morongo I see probably 500 wind turbines at various Heights on both sides of Highway 10. I do notice that many of them are not working so I'm wondering if that is because they are down for maintenance or bearings or other parts that do wear out. I do know that that part of the country has wind all the time with wind gusts probably 30 miles per hour or more but the stupid Canadian government all trying to follow the climate change model scrub the gas-powered or the coal-fired plant and went strictly green and consequently people are paying close to $1,000 a month for electricity in some cases in Ontario.

SSgt Boyd Herrst - part of the problem with their plan was they did over capacity. They built an electric grid for six or eight million people more than lives in that part of Ontario so the electric bills are extremely high because yeah fewer people sharing in the pain of this expensive technology. Had they did a proper assessment and only Built for capacity that was needed, then the price wouldn't have gone up so much. But just like Jerry Brown in California and the idiots and Ontario and Quebec, they all believe in the carbon tax scam and they now have a cap and trade system which will raise prices for everybody thinking they're going to save the world by going completely green. Instead, they're bankrupting their constituents.

I wonder what the figures are on the population of Canadians that have moved stateside because of hydro costs. Their so-called free medical .. has them coming down for operations. If they're above a certain age they give drugs to make them comfortable until they die. Waitjng lines for operations. Only if they have enough work years left to make it worth getting the taxes out of them to pay for the operation...
