From a comedy stand point its funny , from a real life stand point , ahhhhh no. Life can be better on the outside. I myself thought life would be horrible once I got out , turns out its the opposite. Dont get me wrong , I miss the people, I miss the comradery but I dont miss the politics or holy then thou higher ups . Or the kiss ups getting better evals for the work you did. Point is , dont get out unless you have a plan BUT dont institutioalize yourself into a corner either. Like it or not, EVERYONE has to get out eventually. Last tip of advice, don't forget you get paid to go to college. And if you get disability or a retirement or both , thats extra $ in your pocket, then if you get a job.... $$$$ . Don't think your stuck forever. It is all about how well YOU set yourself up before getting out .

Given the chance to go back, I'll be at Monday PT formation in uniform. Civilian life isn't all it's cracked up to be.
