Some of you think the sky is falling and we need carbon taxes on emissions and taxes soft drinks to keep people from getting diabetis. Did you ever think it was a money grab? Some leaders think the biggest threat to the world is global warming. It may also be global cooling. In the mean time, Russia, Iran, North Korea, ISIL and Zika are more imminent threats. We will know soon

Money grab is correct. I can't remember the address of the article, but a couple of years ago a friend of mine sent me a research article on the subject of global warming that had a graph showing research on ice core samples going back some 20k years. The samples showed that even before the evils of anything man-made the cycles of warming and cooling were just like those we experience today. Certain "leaders" need to get their heads out of certain places so that their eyes can see what the real dangers going on around them are.

Thanks MSG. Some here call me a 19th Century Luddite and say I'm putting down the Obama administration but Canada already is the Liberal/Democrats/Green laboratory for tax and spend carbon tax schemes. Soon my gasoline will go up $2 a gallon and F -over the Economy if PM Trudeau gets his $50 a ton carbon tax approved by Parliament.
