Grand Junction got the chance to show this week that being landlocked is no barrier to supporting the U.S. Navy.
Since Monday, Western Slope Navy Week has been in full-swing including community events designed to educate the community about the role of the Navy in 2019.
Matthew Breman with Cranium 360, who helped organize some of the events, said the reception Grand Junction has given the Navy has exceeded all expectations.

SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth Not a Lot of Ports in Grand Junction, CO so they can't do the Fleet Week thing but this sounds just as much fun.
