Folks like these two were consummate performers, artists, and entertainers from the git-go. There may be some like them alive and working today, but I can't think of many. Those were the 'good old days' when people could perform, had multiple talents, and were, for the most part, clean, and respectable in their humor; and women didn't have to take off their clothes to get noticed.
