Greek Air Force Wins Award During Royal Navy International Air Day in UK | Greek Reporter Europe

The team ”Daedalus’” of the Greek (Hellenic) Air-Force won a prize in this year’s Royal Navy International Air Day that took place in the United Kingdom earlier this month.

The Greek team participated in this year’s show with a Beechcraft T-6A Texan II aircraft.

This was the second international appearance of the Daedalus team, which has won several awards in the past in Greek air shows.

Their first international appearance took place last year in Malta.

The team amazed the audience who watched the airshow in the air station of Yeovilton in West England’s Somerset.

The Daedalus team was awarded the ”Best Fixed Wing Flying Display for 2019” prize.
