I have to tell my brother thank you for your service and sacrifice RIP, DOL you are in my thoughts and prayers. What the fuck! Is this rookie hour in the Navy? For the simple reason they are "SEAL TM 6" guys how could they let this happen I would ask if they are stupid but we already know the answer to that. Is Navy Special Warfare insane? They need to get a fucking grip on the idiots. Do they not have a clue about mission first? What they were doing there was not supposed to be a secret, so much for that now. Apparently they need to be fixed from the top down. I am not talking about their ability to shoot and swim.
I am talking about the obvious, if the SF guy was wrong for the job, he was NOT there are very simple ways to make him go away. He would be on the next thing burning out of the Country.
They murder him? Holy Jesus!
Then those idiot jackasses try to stage the crime scene.
OPSEC, oh wait that is not a big deal we will make a movie and write a book or two about it.
I can't even express how mad this makes me. I have had real special operators go live deep in bad guy land and no one even knew they were there. Sometimes people knew they were there but did not have clue why.
This is so much more that me assessing the success of a mission, I am furious. Americans killed an SF Brother. They are disgusting swine, need to be tried, if convicted sentenced to die. Then put the shit in every newspaper in the US that the Navy SEAL tm 6 killed a US SF operator.
Sorry y'all I need to stop for a bit

That sounds about right, but I would prefer they rot in a federal pen until they die of old age if they are convicted.

From what I'm finding, it's not looking good for these two SEALs, however, I hope it isn't true.
Unfortunately, the news that two SEALs are being investigated for potentially killing SSG Melgar checks out as it has been reported by a good amount of media organizations, as well as confirmed by an NCIS spokesperson. That said, The Daily Beast has a reputation for sensationalizing their stories and there's plenty of word-choice in this article that would indicate to me that there was a decent amount of that going on here. What they aren't known for, however, is fabrication of facts. As such, while I suspect the information has been presented from a biased point of view, The information buried in the bias is likely true at face value. That said, the investigation is still underway so there might be pieces to the puzzle that have yet to be uncovered. As such, I wouldn't be calling for a firing squad just yet.
