Grooming a Traitor: How Was Michael Flynn Allowed to Become a General? - WhoWhatWhy

My question is about why he was allowed to retire as a 3 star as he was fired. Shouldn’t he have at least been retired in the last satisfactorily held grade? I actually think he should be recalled to active duty and court martialed.
