Whenever I read statements like this, "She wants to ask Republican lawmakers particularly, “Is it more important to protect and defend the Constitution or protect one individual that feels that they are above the law?”" I have to wonder if people are really this blind or naïve. Do they really think that Obama and Hillary didn't put themselves "above the law"? What sayeth you SSG Robert Mark Odom? Do you HONESTLY think that Hillary isn't guilty of the same things that the Democrats are accusing the President of?

MSG Stan Hutchison Considering the case was laid out by then director of the FBI for an indictment, she would have went to jail.

Cpl (Join to see) - She has never been formally charged on anything, not indicted, not tried. Trump said in his campaign that the first thing he was going to do when he took office was lock her up. Why do you suppose, after 3 years, he has not?

Exactly my point, stan! The never-Trump deep state refused to apply the law as it's written. And the law that covers her actions necessarily requires criminal charges. She deserved her day in court, period.

LTC (Join to see) I am saying whatever did happen wasnt enough to put obama in jail or convict him of a crime. Or, at a minimum censure or impeachment.

Killing an Islamic scholar , killing two of his sons; giving control of 20% of our national stockpile of uranium to the Russians; shipping arms to Mexican cartels.... not one of these abuse of powers is anywhere near a phone call asking a President to look into corruption. And you wonder why Trump supporters don’t give a flip what you think anymore. 1SG (Join to see)

I'll state that I am a democrat so there's no confusion:
I'm up in the air with this. I've read through the articles of impeachment. Even if Trump get's impeached, even if Trump is found guilty on both articles of impeachment, I don't see him being removed from office. I only see this as more fuel for the republicans and a "win" for Trump. If he's not impeached he gets to say , "see I won the democrats are just liars...coup coup". If he's impeached and not found guilty he is going to make the same statement. If he's impeached, foudn guilty, and not removed from office then he gets to say the same thing.
I just don't see how this is a good thing. Yes I feel all the 'dirty laundry' should be out in the open, but I also see this as a "shit slinging" on both sides of the isle and just another "win" for our current sitting president.
The ONLY sure fire way to remove him from office is to vote in 2020. The problem is solely on the democrat side of the court. We have 6,349 candidates that I don't want to vote for and I know no actual democrats in my area that are even going to go out and vote. I see another poor voter turnout, worse than 2016, with another 4 years of Trump.
It's pessimistic, I know, but it's difficult to stay positive with so much negativity and attacks rather than unity and actually discussing real issues that go on every day within this country.

SSG Terry Cummings - I think there's great potential to learn from one another on their political views. Unfortunately what I am learning is how closed off people are from learning from others, myself included. I see politics creating more of a divide than unity.
