I hope they find the Driver to see what possessed them to try and run down a Protestor.

That would depend on if the protestors were just blocking the road or surrounding the car and trying to get in. Was the driver scared for their life? Were they on their way home from work and just happened to normally pass down the road that was blocked by protestors? Were they driving around looking for trouble? We don't know. shooting at the car was wrong either way unless the car had circled back around to hit more people. I would also wonder if there is a 911 call from the driver itself in this situation. Since it states that the woman in the car was cooperating with police I would guess they intended no harm and were scared.
