Interesting, Mark, all I knew was that Timothy McVeigh decided to Oklahoma City because of the assault on the Branch Davidians in Waco Texas. The guy was also a nutcase because he didn't understand or want to believe that the Branch Davidians set the place on fire themselves. They wanted to be martyrs or at least the ones that were controlling everybody wanted to be martyrs. I feel that many would have probably fled the compound had they been given the chance by there doomsday leadership.
