Modular construction, especially in mass productions has become more common and does speed up construction process. Finding people capable of even performing labor though is also a concern, not just paying them. Many of those skills which almost everyone had some introduction to now are only taught in technical schools, often traditional High schools don't even offer them. As to quality that isn't always a great thing, that very much depends on who made the units.

The video is not showing modular construction. Falkbuilt is Digital Component Construction. It is digitizing and creating efficiency in the traditional construction process. Innovating with what is currently being used in the industry to speed up the construction process, higher quality construction, and less impact to the environment.
In my time I've seen some good, decent, and poor modular solutions as you described. Having put one of these at training, this is a game changer.
Tradesman are a problem. For every 4 that retire about 1 comes into the industry.
